“Then, some more global controls. We have structure intensity as well as tone intensity. So, structure intensity is modulating the high frequency detail of the frame, and tone intensity is modulating the low frequency detail of the frame.”
Key terms
- high frequency detail
- — Fine, small-scale image detail such as texture and sharp edges.
- ambient occlusion
- — A shading effect that darkens creases and contact areas where light is blocked.
- subsurface scattering
- — Light entering a translucent material such as skin or leaves and scattering inside it before exiting.
